Since our beginning in 1949, Anderson Ladd has designed and installed over 1,000 gymnasiums, field houses, rec centers, and community center athletic activity facilities. Working closely on the design and construction team with architects, contractors, athletic directors, coaches, owners and administrators, we offer specialized expertise in how to maximize the safety, performance and usability of the facility. The volleyball equipment along with other equipment used in the facility have a huge impact on the design and function of a successful athletic facility.
The goals of the facility for sports events, non sporting events, safety, public vs private use, all factor into decisions of the design and equipment used. Volleyball is usually the #1 or #2 sport that an indoor gymnasium is designed for. Accordingly, the volleyball equipment plays an important role in the design of the gym floor, bleachers, lighting, basketball backstops and curtains that will integrate together. Layout of courts, seating for patrons, the location of locker rooms and mechanical systems are important criteria to consider.
Volleyball equipment is available to challenge all levels of play. Depending on your quality, durability and budget goals, we have volleyball equipment that you will be proud to use in your facility. From steel and aluminum standard systems to engineered ceiling mounted volleyball systems, we can help you source and select the equipment that is best for you. Over the years our customers have asked us for a system that is easy and fast to install, adjustable and safer for competitive players. Our innovative response was a ceiling mounted volleyball system that sets up one or more courts with the push of a button. It integrates with the backstops and curtains in the facility. A wall mounted touch pad or iPad can be used to program the gym for all the types of court setup the facility uses. One touch buttons set into motion all the equipment in the facility to set up for a volleyball tournament or a basketball tournament. Because ceiling mounted volleyball systems do not anchor to the floor, floor mounted posts are eliminated to improve player safety.
The following facilities are a few examples of the volleyball equipment we have designed and installed for our customers. Community center courts, middle school practice, high school competition, division 1 university practice and competition courts to name a few.
